Once again Vega was invited to participate in the Singapore Yacht Show, a major event for boating in South East Asia. For 4 days we ran ourselves ragged showing Vega and explaining our mission. We sold books, coffee, and T-shirts to help raise funds for this years deliveries. It was a great chance to see old friends and meet new ones.
Historic Vessel Vega played host to over 100 budding photographers who took part in a photo competition. We had a lot of laughs for sure.
This year we were featured in the 2017 Singapore Yacht Show and Vega was a super hit.
What a wonderful time every time we visit Penang. So many new and old friends visit with us. If you are in Penang feel free to drop by for a visit at Straits Quay Marina. Always welcome.

We took up the duties of “Press Boat” for the 13th Phang Nga Bay Regatta. That regatta is known for it’s great sailing and wonderful scenic backgrounds. Sailing through some of Thailand’s most scenic islands in company with so many other beautiful boats was an experience to be cherished. The parties at the end of each days racing, or in our case “getting in the way”, were – well – great parties! If you have the chance this is the most enjoyable regatta of the entire South East Asian circuit.
