A brighter future starts with education

A brighter future starts with education and giving students & schools the tools and support they need. Yet the gap between schools on remote islands and those in big cities is growing wider every year. COVID threw this disparity into stark relief.  Our support for these remote schools began with pencils and exercise books but rapidly grew to more technically oriented supplies such as solar power, computer labs and STEM-oriented teaching aids.

IT Equipment to the rescue

We face a new challenge as due to the Coronavirus crisis, almost overnight, schools in Indonesia had to transfer their regular classes into a virtual environment. Students and teachers lack access to the necessary technology, smartphones, laptops, PCs and internet access.

I think these happy smiles say it all.

Vega 1892 computer education for remote schools

This year we were lucky to receive a donation of almost new laptops from the German European School Singapore. Those machines are now going a long way to establish computer labs in remote schools. Thank you GESS for making these kids lives a little bit better. There are more to come as our deliveries progress.
