Reading glasses mean restored eyesight for the elderly. Toothbrushes help school children learn to maintain proper dental health. Antibiotics prevent post-natal infection. Simple bandages treat wounds.

Lingga Islands

Last week, Vega visited the Lingga Islands. And what an eye-opener that voyage proved to be. Situated right on the equator just south of Singapore and east of Sumatra, Lingga Archipelago might as well be located next door to nowhere.

Reading glasses & clinic supplies for Laclubar

Laclubar is a rural area high in the mountains of East Timor. It is difficult to reach. Most people live in the surrounding farming villages which often have no road only walking paths.

Reading glasses for the elderly in Triloka

Triloka Clinic serves the community Triloka and 12 surrounding villages. The clinic works under the umbrella of the Fundação Lafaek Diak, Baucau, East Timor.

Sailus is located in the island chain of Liukang Tangaya in the South Sulawesi sea, Indonesia.
